Llandudno

I just cam back from Wales.

I can feel the difference spending 3 days away from work.

I am noticably less stressed.

I stayed in the sea tow of Llandudno this time.

This was the first time I stayed in Llandudno.

I fall in love with the city.

Llanudno is an old resort town built in the 1800s.

Its surrounded by sea and the mountains.

An hour in public bus takes you to heart of Snowdonia.

Nature is everywhere.

I went with my mother this time to wales. This is my 4th time in wales and her first time.

So far her favorite place in UK was Cotswolds.

But now she thinks Llandudno is her favorite.

I knew she might like Wales. But I was not expecting her to be that impressed.

We took a train to Llandudno from London Euston.

On the first day we took a 30 mins to the famous Conwy castle. We explored the castle from outside and walked by the river and the sea. From Conwy you get to see Great Orme which is a famous limestone headland in Llanduno.

Aftet the catsle we went back to Llandudno and explored the Pier and the botanical gardens. After that we went for a short hike to one of the hills nearby in Great Orme. The hike was worth it and we we saw the first sight of Snowdon from up there.

Second day was reserved for exploring Snowdnia in public buses. We travelled to Betws-y-Coed from Llandudno and explored the village for a bit. Then we continued our travel to Penn-y-Pass which is where the Miners’s track and Pygg Trail hikes to Snowdon starts. Then we took a bus to Llanberis and had a lunch there from Allports Fish and Cips which is probably my favorite fish and chips place in UK. I had fish and chips there the first time I visited Snowdonia as well.

After Llanberis we continued our bus tour to Porthmadog and then to Bangor. Finally we took the bus from Bangor to Llandudno.

On the last day of the trip we took a cable car upto Great Orme and explored that area. Fun fact Great Orme has the largest prehistoric mine disocvered in the world. It was started around 2000 BC.

Overall I love my 3 days in Wales.

The sheer amount of Nature made me at peace.

I would love to live there one day for a few months.
